can we see some x-men characters pls
Ooh I can't wait, GT5 will be an amazing game
So you've played it yourself?
"at 1 minute 20 seconds he is doing 165mph he slams into a wall side ways and some how his wingmirror is still attached and by the looks of the car doesn't even have a scratch on it? err wtf "
damage is off, it's a demo.
I can't speak for all cars (really just the standard ones) but Poly D. has definitely made improvements. Look up footage for the Jaguar XJ13 or Corvette ZR1 from gamescom on youtube. Even the 370Z from the time trial demo is pretty authentic.
Prologue had a lot of updates? The only update was Spec III which added THREE cars. The video updates are part of GTTV which is a storefront, and as such do not require you to download them.
I'm sorry, but do you even own Prologue?
I don't know how you can say FM3 looks more polished... because it doesn't. It's not even an opinion at this point, there's a general consensus GT5 is the best looking racer on the market, from fans of both games.
On top of that, you can't say the new physics are "very poor" when I know you haven't tried the game. The only thing poor here is your grammar; especially considering it's an edited comment...
Well, I guess so... Is that why people claimed DOA to be better than Tekken and VF?
GT is still a very enjoyable experience even without the wheel. I myself didn't get a wheel until GT5 Prologue was out, but have been
playing past games of the series since GT2.
While you won't get FFB or the best experience available like kerrak and Dmarc said, you can still build an intuition about driving lines/strategies, and still get pretty good lap times. It really just depends on how deep you want to go with GT.
Not the best preview I've read either, a bit shallow on details. There was an interview with K.Y during gamescom that actually confirms ~40 tracks with 70+ variations. I can't quote the source, but if you count the tracks that have been previewed and the prologue tracks, it's well over 20.
Such as:
Two reasons; one because it's a demo. Driving 500hp+ monsters is difficult enough in real life, and obviously inexperienced drivers are going to crash. The second reason, probably the more obvious, they're not finished the damage engine. Keep in mind the game is still in development, it hasn't gone gold.
Damage was turned off bruh.
Congratulations to Sony and Polyphony Digital. Gran Turismo's on its way to being one of the best games of the year, as well as one of the best racing games this generation.
I don't think Forge will overshadow Littlebigplanet 1/2. Just my opinion.
I know the guy slipped a couple times off the track in the video, but the Enzo is one of the most difficult cars to drive. He's actually one of few in these GT5 videos that know how to drive.
Well, the PSP go hasn't been hacked, I don't think.
I'm sure people will be more than happy with the selection of premium cars available. Keep in mind a lot of older model cars were upgraded to premium too. Unless you're really so content on driving a '99 Mazda Demio with cockpit view, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
There's a bunch of videos that show gameplay of GT5 from gamescom. You should try looking.
And those screenshots are not bullshots. They're 18MP photos taken from GT5's photomode.
Definitely one of the best developers this generation. Uncharted 2 was simply a phenomenal experience for me. While setting technical and storytelling benchmarks, the pacing of the game was perfect, with an excellent balance of gunplay that never got repetitive, and puzzle solving that was never too complex or time-consuming.
